2019 Cuyahoga County CHNA
The 2019 Cuyahoga County CHNA dashboard includes select primary and secondary indicators from the collaborative 2019 Cuyahoga County Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). These indicators were selected from the priority areas identified in the CHNA: eliminating structural racism; enhancing trust and trustworthiness; address community conditions; enhancing mental health and reducing substance abuse; and reducing chronic illness and its effects.
The primary data included in this dashboard comes from the randomized mail survey of adults (ages 19+) in Cuyahoga County that was conducted in collaboration with the Hospital Council of Northwest Ohio (HCNO). This survey was self-administered using a structured questionnaire. The adult random sample survey data were weighted prior to analysis to reflect the actual distribution of Cuyahoga County based on age, sex, race, and income. Caution should be used when interpreting any subgroup results. The indicator source for the primary indicators will be listed as "HCNO Adult Survey." The data for the secondary indicators were collected from a variety of sources and analyzed by staff from the Cuyahoga County Board of Health.
